Special Event: A Community Show
Three groups of performers are all set to entertain you in a variety of musical styles.
UKE4IA ukulele band plays something for everyone, incorporating songs from all genres of music including pop, country, blues, folk, rock & roll, R&B/soul, rockabilly, jazz and Tin Pan Alley Favourites
HEARTBEAT performs upbeat and modern music in four-part a cappella harmony. John Holland (tenor), Gerry Foster (lead), Chuck Buttigieg (bass), and Barry Lajeunesse (baritone) truly enjoy the challenges, and rewards, of singing four-part close harmony.
The DITCH KIDS (Rowan MacDonald, Kyller McKay, Abel Sandoval and bandleader Jude Zappala) are all current students at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall. They are talented and up-and-coming musicians who share an appreciation for jazz and latin rhythms, the Beatles, Steely Dan, the Tragically-Hip, local jazz and rock groups and numerous other musical influences.

TUESDAY
MAY 2 2023
Sarah Craig Jazz Trio
The Sarah Craig Jazz trio covers a spectrum of musical genres; jazz swing, latin, and blues standards as well as some fun pop-reggae. The show always has great energy! All of Sarah Craig's recent releases were recorded in Nashville with producer Mark Burch, and her fun camp-side videos shot on West Arm Nipissing "Let it Roll" and "My Love is Out of Season".
"Sarah Craig…has been the beating heart of the Sudbury music scene for 20 years and she is one of the finest keyboard players I've ever met.” —-Angie Nussey, musician and recording artist.
You may have run into Sarah Craig (piano/vocals) and Chris Dardick (drums/vocals) performing at downtown venues or headlining black-tie events. For this performance, they're joined by Alan Walsh on Saxophone. Alan can be seen with the Dixie Stompers parading around downtown New Orleans style. He is artistic director of Sudbury Jazz Fest, a professional teacher and instrument repairman!
