What is Jazz at the Junction?

Jazz at the Junction  is a musical event series presented by the Nipissing-Parry Sound Music & Jazz Corporation of North Bay, Ontario, Canada that showcases local musicians and singers, as well as travelling  bands.

Performances feature a variety of jazz styles & eras, from New Orleans Jazz to Bossa Nova... with occasional concerts featuring singer/songwriters, blues musicians, and outstanding performers from other genres.

With its roots in blues and ragtime, "jazz" embodies that love of improvisation, interpretation and playing with feeling found in performers of all styles and genres.
